STEP 5
The program will provide a set of languages that the media needs to be converted to. Select the language stream that is needed in the convert from the menu. Many files come in different languages since the media from the document can be in other forms other than Spanish or English.
STEP 6
The program will indicate some information coded “SubPictures to Text via OCR” option. Selected the option which will load and display a page with start on it. The program opens a window labelled “Subtitles” at the bottom of the screen, to hold the converted subtitles and timing information, and start converting the IDX file. In case the files containing a character it can’t recognize it will display input, you can add the character appropriately.
STEP 7
The program converts the IDX to STR very fast . Once the character has been recognized the input of the name can be recognized automatically. Monitor the program and typing characters until the process is complete. When the process is done click the done button that appears in the screen.
Step 9
Click the illustration coded “File” and select “Save As” option in the Subtitles window. Select a location and name for your converted SRT file and click “Save.”
Load the media to determine whether the process was successful. In case the conversion was not complete you can reconvert the media again
